Judicial Activism – Proposition 8

August 11, 2010 at 8:03 am 10 comments

The judicial activism in California is a slap in the face of the people. If any issue is enumerated to the states this is one. US District Court judge Vaughn Walker overturned Proposition 8 that the voters enacted irregardless of the millions of dollars the left spent fighting it. Liberal celebrities and gays from all over the country railed against it to no avail, the majority then spoke for the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman.

Homosexuality is a biological error, it does not propagate the species. If all members of a species were homosexual the species would go extinct. We should not discriminate against them and legally they have the same rights as heterosexuals. Marriage is between a man and a woman period. Giving homosexuals marriage would make as much sense as giving a man and a goat a marriage license and given time would be legal if you logically progress same sex marriage.

In nature many species pair bond to raise offspring and some do for life. Pair bonding gives better odds to successfully raise offspring and marriage was recognized by early societies for the same reason. It is not a thing that can be logically extended to homosexuals as it loses all meaning. That is the real goal of the left.

The following video was savaged by the left go to You Tube and there are literally hundreds attacking it with their video, it must scare them like Sarah Palin.

I used to feel this way, but now I respectfully disagree. Too many things going wrong in this world for me to even feel passion for this either way.Bankruptcy of a Nation takes up most of my fears now a days. I think this is a subject that is going to fall ,because whether us older folks like it or not,the younger people are just not against gay marriage and will change this when they are running things. This is what I wrote about it:

The reason the younger generation is leaning for it is the leftist indoctrination they get in school now. The points I made are valid from a biological standpoint and social standpoint. I think this is a side issue too but important in the long view.

Great Post.I agree with you, This is years of neglect from citizens like myself who have allowed indoctrination to take place through the political correctness crap and education ,…..we can never give up, what would have happened if those who came before us had taken that attitude…..please all of you out there fight on, the legacy we leave is so important……..I am having a difficult time posting on the blog some one out there help

More conservative parents need to get on school boards then demand that the liberal agenda cease and traditional teaching resume. No indoctrination either way.

I live in a rural area where hunting is a big recreational pastime. My nieces have been brought up hunting, fishing and shooting. One day one that was 11 at the time came home and stated ” Killing animals is wrong”. This came from indoctrination that was contrary to the values of the area by a liberal teacher.

This may not be the “most” important issue facing us.It sure as hell is the most vile one. The entire agenda of the left is either skin color or sexual. Merely symptoms of what it is that occupies their very soul.

Don’t abandon hope for the younger generation just yet. I am around them every day and talk to them all the time. They are the ones that are offering a more conservative outlook and beginning to reject as “pure crap” the things they have been taught and told for years. Many of todays conservatives at one time walked through the valley of utter stupidity known as liberalism and survived to come out the other side a better person. I see way more hope for this nation in the youth then I do the current crop of so-called adults. Faith and knowing God lead all of us through those times,it’ll be the same for them.

This nation is not just on the verge of a conservative revival,it is on the verge of an even more important ,spiritual revival. Believe me,the left fears that more than anything.

I hope your right but we need to take more action on a local basis to stop the indoctrination of young minds.

First: Homosexuals have the exact same marriage right as heterosexuals: I can’t marry a man, either. Gay marriage is not an equal right; it is a special right.

My primary concern is that it will lead to State control of religion through the enforcement of pseudo-equal rights against any Christian, Jewish or (less likely) Islamic pastors, rabbis and imams who refuse to either marry a male to a male or a woman to a woman, or allow such a marriage ceremony on the grounds of their church, synagogue or mosque. Since many idemsexuals (idem is Latin for “same”, homo is Latin for “man” in the sense of a human being of either gender) are not merely irreligious, but rabidly anti-religious because God tells us that idemsexuality is immoral. Thus, for a number – and not an insignificant number – of idemsexuals God is an enemy, and His worshippers a threat, because of the condemnation of their behaviors. Thus, inevitably it will come to pass that idemsexual couples will come to Christian, Jewish and/or Islamic establishments of religion and demand there to be married, only to be denied by a conscientious pastor, rabbi or imam. This will be followed by lawsuits claiming their rights have been infringed. Thus, the church, synagogue or mosque involved will be destroyed by the courts.
No religious conscientious objection protections will be passed into law, for gay marriage is an issue only for the above purpose, intended from the start.

You are right on all counts, in the vid they bring up the issue of a pastor HAVING TO marry them against his convictions.

Nobody has yet explained why a legal, civil partnership isn’t enough for them.

But the answer is obvious- this is an attack on the Christian faith, it has nothing to do with anybody’s imagined or actual “rights”- no different than removing manger scenes from city squares

And we must resist these specious scum- marriage is between a man and a woman.

And dont’ forget to shop at Target for all you can to break the despicable boycot- it’s the best discount store anyway, has been for years, imo

You are right about the attack on Christianity, it also attacks other religions.

Haven’t heard about any boycott of Target, what’s up with that?
